Hello! I find myself lalely, more and more often, in financial stress. As my income increases also my costs get higher and it feels like a non-end situations. And as much as I plan to start saveing some money, years go by and I see no progress. Do you manage to save money? Do you follow some rules to succeed?

I do. I save 90% of my earnings or salary as my husband pays for all the expenses here.

No, I dont. Edit: I have a full-time offline job so apart from the monthly expenditure everything goes into saving, there is no rule that I have to save a fixed percentage of the salary.

I plan my budget very meticulously. I try to stick to it and make sure that I save enough for rainy days. Life is unexpected and emergency can pop in anytime.

Saving money from our salary is a must these days. If only I am working now I will definitely save up again. Specially now we are experiencing pandemic and a lot of us is suffering financially and to some the lockdowns made it worst because we cant go to work just like before. When I was still working, I try to make it a point to save up a hundred or thousand pesos from my salary for emergency purposes. I have a spare card or bank book for savings . I was able to save up until my uncle borrowed and did not pay me back

It always looks like the circumstances are my excuse too for not saving. The truth is a ferm atitudine and perseverence may be the key.
