WHAT IS STRESS?

There are several ways you can define stress. In my opinion there are following definitions of stress. I invite all members of my lot to write about stress . How they perceive it.
1.Its body and mind non specific response to any demand made on it.
2. Stress is condition where demand exceed the person's coping ability.
3.Stress is person's physical and emotional response to change in body and environment.
This is my way of defining stress.I invite all members of of My lot to give their opinion to describe or discuss stres.

It is a wide topic.
There could be more than one definitions.
When something goes against our will we tend to get worried and when we worry too much we can call it stress...which starts showing symptoms through body like a headache,no appetite,insomnia.

It is just like windows. If you give too many orders to computer it hanged and stop working.

I still have a T shirt I bought years ago with the definition of stress. It is perfect
Stress is the confusion created when one´s mind overcomes the body´s basic desire to choke the living sh*t out of some a**hole who desperately deserves it.
I bought it in Aruba and find it quite wise, if you word it differently. In other terms, it is about the same deffinition you are giving.

Everything is not stress dear Abishek. There are positive stress also. Suppose you are preparing for UPSC examination and you have study more than normal.But if you want to become IAS officer and this is your goal and you study hard. This is positive stress which is necessary for growth of organisms.

Stress can kill and if we don't know how to deal with it, can cause a lot of illness because that's a bad energy.

There are hundreds of chemical are released in our body during stress and prepare body for FLIGHT OR FIGHT situation. In civilized world we can fight or flight.This energy we can utilized by aerobic exercise.In other words exercise your body when your mind is tired and exercise your mind when your body is tired.
