What words do you dislike hearing from your loved ones?

Personally, I don't like to hear words like: always, never, then, right, now I can't, won't succeed. Such words usually annoy me because they have a pessimistic overtone, as if we assume in advance that we will fail, we will fail. Usually I try to think positively, even in difficult situations, and such words make me doubt my abilities. How is it with you? What words do your loved ones abuse?

I hate to hear, "Don't take this wrong, but..." or "I'm not trying to be critical, but..."

Agree, sometimes someone tries to say something delicately, but the introduction itself says it all.

I would say, it's mostly the same. My husband often underestamates my ability to do things because I'm disabled. As do most people, but I've proven him wrong.

Congratulations on the fact that it succeeded :) Bravo :) Even though I do not have a disability, I have heard that I am sucked, that I will not be able to handle it. And sometimes I do better than with the person who said it. It is important to believe in yourself and not give up.

@Gguusia Yep. Learning to love yourself, first is important. How you feel about yourself, pretty much shows how others will about you. In your case I'm sure your 'family and friends' It appears to be jealousy and nothing more.

And the worst thing is that this person probably won't pay you back;)

I'm sorry.... I still think/love my ex..... *Sighs* that's what happened to me. Glad I broke up with him early this year when I found him cheating again. *Sighs* Can I get a hammer? I feel like I want to either throw the hammer at him.

@Gguusia Some people best for our lesson learnt, although it's painful. Sorry too to hear that.

@Adie04 You're right. However, nothing happens without a reason, and such experiences often build a person's character. I hope you will only get better :)

My little ones, fortunately, do not repeat this word, but as soon as they hear such typical expressions of adults in my native language, they also walk and speak them, although I do not like it.

I do not like "Can you hear me?" being yelled since the person who yells those words thinks that I am fooling around working on my computer doing survey work.

I don't like it when people I love say "Who are you? You don't have the right to control me". this breaks my heart to this day. the wound is still felt in my heart and hard to forget. even though I want the best for him so that he keeps his heart for me alone. but apparently not, love has been one sided
