How do you know when you're in a rut?

I'm in a rut. I know I'm in a rut because I keep watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine over and over again. LOL. My sons pay for the Netflix subscription and there are lots of movies, TV series, and documentaries to watch. But I keep watching the same thing over and over. After working online all day, I try to watch a little entertainment before I go to bed. But I don't want my brain to work any more! So instead of picking something new to watch and get interested in, I pick something where I don't have to read read English subtitles (because I like Korean dramas and Bollywood) and that I already know what's going to happen, so I don't have to wait and see. I hope my son are getting some enjoyment out of Netflix. I feel like I'm wasting their money! LOL. I am definitely in a rut.

Not sure about being in a rut, but I have watched Age of Samurai several times, on Netflix!

They removed the original series from the Netflix database.

Well if you enjoy the show that's fine. Maybe when you're not tired from working online you can finally watch a different show. There are plenty of things to watch on Netflix. Hehe.

They have new Korean drama and I just added it to my list. I am going to watch something different this weekend. A friend suggested I write short reviews and publish them in a reading community where I am active. I could earn a few pennies for my posts.

Think of it as watching the same thing but trying to discover something new.

OK. I did notice that in certain episodes there were scenes I had missed. I must have fallen asleep when I watched the first time.

We watch Frasier a lot. I like putting it on to help me sleep. I can close my eyes and listen and it puts me to sleep.

We do that too. We watch Star Trek Enterprise. We also have a tendency to watch movies that we've seen before because watching a new one requires too much concentration.

As long as you are enjoying, that is what counts.
