Just send it. It will reach the person. You are doing it right.

@sjvg1976, it also happened to me message about to send but so suddenly suspend it for some reasons.

It was not wrong decision not to send the message. The sender can wait. He might think you're so busy charging the phone, or you're out of town. You may send it should you finally decide.
