After the Thunderstorms Fall Arrives

Finally, I can feel the cool 52 degrees of nothing but fall air this morning. Lots of thunderstorms all night. Woke up to low 50's. Perfect fall weather is finally here. I hope it stays around for awhile. Enjoyed my coffee in the screen room with a nice cool breeze earlier. A perfect morning. The only sound was the wind from the trees. Snapped this photo from the deck. I will leave the hummingbird feeder out a little while longer. Sycamore tree on the left and poplar on the right. Cypress trees in the middle. Both trees are just starting to change colors. Fall foliage is here. Yes!

That is a beautiful view, and it does look like autumn might finally be arriving. I think that it might finally be arriving here, too. We may, in fact, have reached the end of needing air conditioning.

You really have such a lovely yard there Carol. How peaceful it must have been with just the sound of the wind. I am so glad now it is cooling there and a perfect day for you. I love those Cypress! Yes the hummingbird feeder can be left for a while longer.
