It probably isn't a good thing when you are awake before the cats. I actually woke them up, because I walked into the living room where they had been sleeping-- having been "disinvited" from our bedroom due to the boy's energetic behavior. The way things are supposed to work here is that they serve as fuzzy alarm clocks who wake us (mostly me) up before 7 every morning. Do you ever accidentally overstep your role as the human of the household and encroach on your fuzzies' jobs?

Their view is that some humans just can't be trusted not to take over cat-ly jobs. I did go back to bed for a bit, so they still had the chance to exercise their feline right to force us to get up.

@wilsongoddard That's good. So their noses wouldn't have been too far out of joint. lol

@JudyEv Our girl's nose has been semi-out of joint ever since we "blessed" her with bouncing baby brother. She likes him, but she would like less bouncing and pouncing-- especially on her purrson.

I was wide awake. The cats weren't, though, until I walked into the room. Then, they figured that they should be generous and allow me the privilege of giving them an early breakfast; they didn't point out to their daddy, though, later on that they'd already had breakfast. So, they've had two breakfasts so far and are circling for a late lunch.

These two do plot together some, but the boy can be a bit too kittenish to be a really co-conspirator for the girl. I think that she's working on him, though. At least, she is when he's not too busy bouncing off the walls (often literally).
