Short Story: Zen energy koan. When is energy, energy?

The Zen master, Herclys Yerklin, was giving a lecture to his students about energy.
"Energy is not energy until it is energy,"
he said.
"Can anyone work out the reason for that truth?"
he then asked his students.
Nobody could answer him.
He then quoted them something that Albert Einstein had said.
"Everything is energy, and that's all there is to it. Match that frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics."
"Is he right though, is God, and are we, just energy too?"
"Energy is not God, as love is far more than just being energy."
"Love contains truth, which, when mixed with consciousness, produces wisdom, which is not energy, but a form of intelligent knowing, knowing rightly, so to speak."
"Energy is our food, not us, of ourselves."
"But, when you are empty of energy, you are full of God."
"God is not energy, and neither is our soul. God creates energy by loving, and we should do the same. This love energy serves us, whereas, other energies, never do. They lead us away from love."
"Think over my words, tonight, and feel the truth of right energy, mixed with high consciousness."
"Your thinking can create energy within you, but only, is it usefully employed, if consciousness is behind them, your thoughts. Energy, on its own, does little, without consciousness behind it; thinking is the same."

Energy can feed us, or waste us, depending on what our consciousness level is.

i just blogged about the energy of light this morning, a contemplation of its journey!
as to the concept empty of energy, full of God - that one sends me off on a wild goose chase. I believe that in fact when you are finally to the point of awareness of God, the energy available is infinite.

So, light is on a journey too?
When you go on a wild goose chase, you often come back with a full stomach, as the journey in looking for the goose has satisfied you too.
God is not energy, as we know energy to be here.
God is more like a program, that sits above energy, but then uses the energy of love to run itself.
For us to know God, we must become empty of all things, of all else, including of energy.
Only then can God's program kick into a start automatically in us then, rather than us idly endlessly just forever searching for that start button ourselves.
His program runs fully in us on his energy, love, when we empty ourselves of our own mind thoughts, and other energies, that we harbour that keeps these wrong ideas, thoughts, and patterned responses alive within us too.
Energy is not energy until it is energy.
This means that until we run on God's energy of love too, we are running poorly on some other fuel instead, only fooling/fueling ourselves on inferior lesser grade fuels.
I might add that I suspect that energy is not infinite, but must be created by the person wanting to use it.
God creates energy, along with all else, as he goes along keeping it alive with his words, or his own program running in the background of all else.

@DocAndersen Energy can be absorbed and transformed into other things. God is the transformer.
Sometimes energy is existing only in potential form too. It must have been doing so before the big bang, if that theory is correct. Something must spark its release.
If light must have a source, must love's energy have such a source too, and perhaps the ultimate source is God, of which we should apply some of his sauce to our lives too.

@innertalks ah - energy is always energy. Light, begins its journey at the source, and then continues forever.
when I was younger I used to shine a flashlight at the stars and wonder how long it would take the team to reach infinity.

My energy is displaced when I read this. God isn't energy but when you don't have energy, you're full of God. It's enigmatic.
But when we are conscious we have energy. Therefore energy is the state of the mind.

The Bible says that God moves in mysterious, and enigmatic ways, not in our ways.
God is not energy. God created energy.
So, when we empty ourselves off all of our own pomp and ceremony, and fullness of energy about what we think that God is to us, only then, in the still quiet morning of nothingness, and a welcoming heart, with that now emptied mind, will we see God, in the sunrise, and in our hearts too.
God's energy is not the energy of the World, or of our minds. It is the energy of our hearts, and of love.
When we do not have any false energy of ourselves in us anymore, only then is there room for the real energy of God's, love, to fill us up with itself then too.
If our cup is already full of ourselves, and our ideas of energy, life, and love, there is no room in us anymore, for God to pour his truths into us. We need to empty ourselves of false energy, to allow ourselves to be filled with real energy, the energy of love, which God runs himself on too.

Yes, I was talking about all energy types here, and our inner energy, our spiritual energy is also affected by our inner climate, or by our inner attitudes to life too.
When we connect to love with love, we see sunny weather then in our lives.
When we try to connect to love, with our ego, or mind wants, trying to change what is, or what God's plan is, to more what we want, to gain short term profits, at the expense of all else, we will usually end up with adverse weather events in our lives then too.
