Would you risk your computer's safety for money?

I just found a job, but it seems risky. I have to install a program. The company is from China. I really want to earn money and I need it. I don't know what to do. The job will be a transcription job in my own language, but that program seems risky. Maybe I should risk and install it. I don't have other job and I really need it. The company is not a scam. I know this. But that program can't be uninstalled easily. The computer needs to be formatted.

you'll never know till you try it. Look up for reviews about that company.

It's actually natural for a company to require you to install a program. Not all companies opporate the same, and programs help bridge the gap. If you know the company is not a scam, you can trust the program.

@dya80dya It's recommended that you do a factory restart once or twice a year. If you're that uncomfortable, you can do more research on the developer. A lot of good things come from China, after all.

@kaylachan The company is legit and they pay. The problem is that program.

If I were you, I would feel the same way. I can't risk my computer either, but I also want a job.
How's the job? Were you able to work for them? I had some offers from a company in China as well, but the pay was very low. I can't imagine they're offering that recording project for, I think, $1 for 100 voice recordings.

I wish you luck Diana. Be careful.
I am afraid to expose all my information as I told you.
So no, not me.
But yes, I also need money.

@dya80dya Welcome I am sorry everything is such nonsense all the time. It is frustrating to say the least.

If it is from China, you shall be careful.Chinese company loves to steal the privacy and implant the spy virus. Most of them are running under the CCP's supervision. But if you're desperate, you can try.Surely, you shall protect your privacy firstly.God knows what they will use your privacy for.

@dya80dya I don't know it,but it will steal our privacy.Surely,i guess we can get rid of it by the anti-virus software(don't use Chinese anti-virus).But its water is very deep.God knows What High-tech virus Chinese Software has.
China has many software like Douyin(Its international version is Tik tok),Weibo,Taobao,Wechat,i never use them.Because they need my id card.If i say any dissidence,CCP can immediately find me by these software. So i never use them.I don't know how they plant those spy virus, but i know the best way to avoid from it is never using these software.
