4-Ingredient Dijon Bacon Dip for Pretzels

Just fixed an easy peasy snack to enjoy before the football game starts.
Ever had this one before?
1/2 cup Dijon mustard (1/2 cup Mayo is optional)
1/4 cup bacon bits or crumbled cooked bacon
1 to 3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
Pretzels or pretzel crisps
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise (optional), mustard, bacon and horseradish.
Cover and chill until serving. Serve with pretzels.

There are some really good vegan bacons on the market. There are also vegan bac'uns in jars that can just be sprinkled in.

I haven't had it before, but I am sure I would love it. Many years ago I had a mustard dip at a restaurant that I am still trying to perfect, it was some combination of honey, mustard, horseradish, and maybe mayo was the other ingredient. One of these days I will find the key.

I think I'd probably scale down the horseradish. I like horseradish but, for some reason, just the thought of it is sort of making me queasy right now.

@CarolDM It's weird. I usually like horseradish, but just the thought of it was turning my stomach last night. Now, it seems fine. *Shrug* I guess that it was a stress thing.

There you go I am not big on pretzels but when I do eat there is some kind of mustard involved. will have try that especially with bacon bits. My sister bought those kinds with mustard powder and I did not care for those.
