I'm Back! (I Missed You All)

Happy Monday Everyone!! it's a rainy morning here today but at least it's not freezing cold outside. Looks like our nice weather is gone and I have to say that I did enjoy those last few warm days and spending time outside.
The last few days were fairly busy for me and I didn't have much time to spend here.
The tiles came for my kitchen backsplash and I absolutely love them. We had to go through every box and check each tile for breakage and the good news is only one tile is cracked.
I had my bloodwork done right before the weekend and I got a message from the doctor saying everything looks good. Whew!!
I have to pack up a black scarf that I sold and get it in the mail. That's a nice little bit of cash to add to my piggy bank 
The laundry is going and it's just a routine day here today.
Enjoying my coffee and hoping to catch up a bit here.

@LadyDuck 2 weeks will be here in a blink of an eye. Right now we're getting stuff put away so that only the furniture has to be pushed to the middle as the painting gets under way.

weekends I only work in the project area. One day when the project is finished I want to go home and have a peak holiday with my little family riding a motorbike after 3 months of work, my whole body hurts if I don't take a day off.

I hope you can get the time to visit with your family and ride your motorbike. I can imagine that it would be hard to work for 3 months on a project.

My weekend was stressful. Two cousins from Virginia came for the day to say their good byes to my uncle who is in the late stage of Alzheimers. So, it was good to see them, but the next day my aunt who also has Alzheimers fell and had a slight stroke. She's much better this morning, no obvious effects. Another aunt is having surgery this morning to remove a cancerous part of her lung.
Glad your weekend was good. God is merciful.

@Hannihar I even forgot to add that throughout all the time I was gone part of it was to blame for our internet. We had to replace the router and then everything had to be hooked back up to the internet. A hassle and time consuming to say the least.

I am glad you are working hard to get the numbers where they should be and that your bloodwork was good. Yes, one does need a break and you had a lot to take care of so it is very understandable that you could not be here.

I'm very happy with my lab results as I've been working hard to get to the numbers my doctor wants me to be.
I never thought to check the tiles until my son mentioned it. Thankfully they were all intact except for that one

@Marilynda1225 that is the worst - i had a trainee last time I had blood drawn, after the 3rd poke and miss, the senior tech did it.
i had 3 bruises!

I work my weekends and then I've been watching scorpion a show from some years back. I'm also revising some of my kitchen and the workers are returning tomorrow to redo my island as some drawers won't open and the rest won't once the handles are put on.
