This bird known as mynah is seen in big boisterous flocks in our region. I still remember, my grandfather had a jackfruit tree in front yard of our tea estate quarters. Every evening hundreds of mynahs used to descend on the jackfruit tree They were a boisterous lot. They used to create such a cacophony that whole village could hear the noise. They are found in slight variations at different places. So I believe they might be seen in south and southeastern Asia. I found these singers looking for their food in our playfield this morning.
