This bird known as mynah is seen in big boisterous flocks in our region. I still remember, my grandfather had a jackfruit tree in front yard of our tea estate quarters. Every evening hundreds of mynahs used to descend on the jackfruit tree They were a boisterous lot. They used to create such a cacophony that whole village could hear the noise.
They are found in slight variations at different places. So I believe they might be seen in south and southeastern Asia.
I found these singers looking for their food in our playfield this morning.

We used to see do many mynahs while growing up. But then they are nowhere to be found in city life. My daughters were excited to see a lot of them in Singapore.They didn't see them here.![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)
