This is my lunch today, Vegetables salad (as usual) + melon and I had my steam rice topped with cheese + salmon + quail eggs. I give lemon to my salmon then give a pinch of salt and pepper, and sheer that to butter. Quick one, and we still can taste the deliciousness of salmon. I also have four quail eggs, just boiled with pinch of pepper after peel off. This small eggs has many notorious and benefits to our health, one of them as anti-salmonella, vitamin A, lutein, and zinc that good for eyes. It also has potassium that can help to repair body cells, and full protein, Are you familiar with these small eggs?

I know that people consume quail eggs. It's not common here. We are mainly into chicken eggs. Your meal looks filling and healthy Enjoy!

@Vree0937 Quails aren't eaten too often here either. I just meant that I'd heard of quails. My sister has some quails in her bird cages.

It's small eggs come from quail. You can not get full by eating 10 of them But you shoudnt eat 10 of them at one go. Eat 2 or 4 pcs will be OK, just as protein

@Vree0937 I meant that the steamed rice with cheese and salmon and quail eggs sound like it could be filling. So quail eggs are very light and have protein.

Very familiar with quail eggs. I just don't have these often as these have a high cholesterol content.

nope, actually that's a wrong thought. It should be ok, if we eat in proper amount. Thats why I discuss it here. To wipe this wrong perception

Already hard boiled quail's eggs are sold here in small elongated plastic bags usually containing 6 eggs and we eat it just like how we eat any hard boiled egg that is with salt. I also like hard boiled quail's eggs on my Nido soup or the Philippine version of the Chinese " bird's nest soup "

I don't think I have come across such eggs before. Chicken eggs are popular over here. Do quail eggs taste similar to chicken eggs?
