There was a huge queue when I arrived and of course it was raining so by the time it was my turn I was wet.. I had the Pfizer vaccine this time which was different to the other two and apart from a slightly sore arm I feel fine tonight.
On Friday I am taking my teenage granddaughter to have hers as she missed it at school due to having covid at the time they carried it out. She was hesitant at first after reading a lot of media rubbish but after seeing how mildly I got the disease she has decided she wants it..

Yes I'm relieved she isn't going to make a fuss because when she first heard of it she didn't want it.

@LadyDuck I don't take any notice of that. It's like anything. There are some people who will react badly to a vaccine but very very few die. Smallpox was wiped out because of vaccination.

@sprite1950 The media and the newspapers are spreading so many fake rumors about the vaccine and the dangers of being vaccinated.

I had to cancel it unfortunately as she has some sort of throat infection and they like them to be well. I'm re booking as soon as she's well again.

@Nawsheen Yes since the beginning of March. Then there was the summer holidays from July to September. They don't even wear masks now and it is spreading like wildfire.

The one thing we did get right is the vaccination programme although it's a pity they didn't start it sooner in the schools. At least half my granddaughter's school were off with it before half term.

@sprite1950 just one as I don't have a need for two. I got the Janssen from Johnson&JOhnson and it's a single dose vaccine.

In the end I couldn't take her as she got a throat infection so I cancelled it and will make another as they like you to be well.

@sprite1950 Nope, none whatsoever too. I just feel very tired that's all and was okay after a few days rest.

Yes I feel very fortunate that I have been able to have them all before the winter comes.
