Personally, I realized that I really like marmite but it took me a little bit of time to get used to the taste. Usually, I get marmite on Amazon but I can also get it from world market. Sometimes, I have toast with butter, and a small amount of marmite, it’s really good. Do you like marmite? Marmite is an acquired taste and it’s salty, but not to salty. I heard that some people have spoonfuls of marmite by itself, it seems like that could have a really strong taste. I have seen a lot of YouTube videos with people comparing Marmite to Vegmite.
I’m not sure what I think about Vegmite, because I think that it has a stronger taste and it’s hard figuring out what it tastes like. Vegmite is really popular in Australia and New Zealand and I also heard that it might be popular in the United Kingdom as well.
Personally, If I had to pick one, it would be Marmite, but Vegmite is good as well.

Yes I'm from the UK and it is sold in our shops here. I have a jar in the cupboard but it's not something I would eat every day. I don't hate it but I go through phases of eating it on toast. Some people put it in cooking to add flavour. Vegemite is also sold here but not as popular.

@t100068 I've never actually tried any but here is a link to some recipes. No I've never tried Vegemite but I will get some and see if I like it.

@sprite1950 Thank you for the link. Some marmite recipes are with potatoes and in gravy. There’s several marmite recipes and several vegmite recipes as well. I didn’t try vegmite until recently. Hopefully the vegmite is good.

@t100068 The bread in England was always a larger slice than here.

@RebeccasFarm So in the United States of America, the bread is smaller than the bread is in London, England. Why are the portions in America so much larger than the rest of the world?

My daughter brought Marmite from London last year. She loved it on toast during her stay in the city. As you said, it takes an acquired taste to like the Marmite. I tasted it. Not for me.

Some people have had Marmite and Vegemite, and some people haven't had either one. Personally, I never had heard of marmite until I saw a Avocado toast with marmite video on YouTube. The only places that I've seen Marmite and Vegemite sold in the United States of America is Amazon and world market.

I read that Vegmite is also available in the United Kingdom, but it’s not as popular as Marmite in the UK. Although, Vegmite is popular in Australia, the Vegmite spread is very popular in New Zealand. There are many flavors and types of marmite including peanut butter marmite, marmite cheese spread, and other flavors and types. Does Switzerland have marmite and Vegmite?

@LadyDuck So there's an original Switzerland marmite product known as Liebig invented by Justus von Liebig. That's really interesting, I never knew that Switzerland made their own marmite. Have you ever tried Liebig and why is it no longer sold in Switzerland?
