Heading to Ikea soon with my sister

Midland, Michigan

To return pieces we didn't use or need and to purchase items like trays to hold the silverware, knives and spices. Also something to hold a few utinsels. The majority of those will be hidden in drawers but I'll keep a few out that match my color scheme. We'll be having lunch there also. I with this a few minutes ago and then for some reason it for lost. I checked the times before writing it again.

I love going to Ikea. Even if I don't buy anything.

@MarieCoyle It does help knowing what you need before going.

@MarshaMusselman Not easy. Sometimes, I do. But most of what I would want there is some of their furniture items, and I don't honestly need much in that department.

I did. I didn't get everything in my list as they were out of some things but at least I got my drawer fronts.

@marlina that's why I don't get there often. My sister tries to go several times a year.

I enjoyed it all except the drive home after dark but that was only an hour of the drive.

It's good you can return what you don't need.

@just4him they took everything I had back no questions asked. It gave me just under a four hundred dollar credit. The treats I wanted weren't in stock so I bought something else instead for now. That might suffice or I can look again another time.

IKEA is a huge store that you can spend hours in. Although, I love IKEA, I don’t buy anything because there’s so much to choose from. Hopefully, your shopping went well, and your lunch was good.

Lunch and the time spent with my sister was very good. They were out of a lot of what I went for but at least I was able to r return everything I took.

Hope you enjoyed your shopping trip and got everything returned and new stuff bought. Sounds like you're making good progress on the kitchen. What color scheme are you doing?

I will take pics when it's all done but the countertop will have browns, white and black which is the color of the appliances, flooring and windows. I figure bright colors should be nice for accent colors. That will be the towels and some utinsels.

I hope you found what you were looking for at IKEA. There is one about an hour or so away from us but we haven't been.

If we had one that close I'd go more often maybe. They were out of many of the trays I need but I for something to use until they get the others. Mainly I was going to return items. Your have a year for unopened packages but only six months for opened or out together items and I didn't want to go in the winter months.

I am not keen on flatpack furniture due to the quality of it. It can be affordable, and I don't mind constructing it for others, though.

Some things might not be up to last in quality but the cabinets are. Is flatpack the name of the material they use?
