SCAM Sell The Eiffel Tower?!?!? / myLot

In about the late 1800's Victor Ludwig came up with a brilliant idea. Hearing about the condition of the eiiffle tower, he would sell it for scap metal. He presented this to metal dealers and they bought the idea!! Of course Ludwig scraped millions of dollars out of their pockets. And split town. This was an infamous get rich quick scheme!! Titled the Tower of Lies!! Some people can sell ice to an Eskimo!! Have You Fallen For A Scam?

There was one scam my husband and I fell for many years ago. It is too complicated to explain here. We did learn a lesson.

These scams sound real especially if the seller looks intelligent. But we have to make sure we ask the questions, exactly how does this work!!

@CarolDM this should have been verified, who was tearing down the Eiffel tower?!? Sometimes it's hard to pinpoint the thing that's odd about their claims
