I have recently heard of alot of abuse going on in alot of different nursing homes.I am very torn.It has gotten so bad that we have no where to send our love ones when we are not able to take care of them anymore.I for one think that something should be done about it nursing homes are suppose to be safe places to send a love one but not anymore.

A lot of nursing home abusive continues on longer than it has to by neglectful children. These places are filled with people that would love more than anything to have visitors but spend day after day alone. That in it self seems like another form of abuse to me.

yes this is the same situation everywhere.....i feel that lack of commitment is everywhere......one does not love onces job ........

I hear so much about people being treated poorly in nursing homes (abuse in some situations). It's so unfortunate, I'll have a tough time ever making the decision of whether or not to put a family member into a nursing home.

Its so unfortunate that some of them are being treated differently. They are suppose to take care of them not to maltreat them, I hope that the head of the nursing homes will be able to manage the situation and identify who are those that maltreat patients.
