Personally, I looked on mylot and seen a lot of interesting discussions about food and recipes, so it got me thinking about the different pasta types and several pasta recipes. One of my favorite pasta recipes to make is spaghetti Bolognese with Banza pasta chickpea spaghetti and I add some Castelvetrano olives to it. Another favorite pasta recipe that I like to make is known as Pumpkin fettuccine alfredo with parsley. While, there are a lot of other pasta recipes that I could list, there are too much for me to list. Some of my favorite pastas are Penne, Linguine, Angel hair pasta, spaghetti and fettuccine. What are some local pastas that you have? What are some local pasta recipes that you have or make? Have a good morning/afternoon/evening.

I used to love pasta with gusto but I have to cut down on it. I did try the variety of preparations such as marinara, alfredo, pesto, carbonara, bolognese, etcetera. Pretty good on first try but after some time, I find alfredo a little coarse and difficult to swallow. Pesto has an after taste and am sorry, has totally become repulsive to me.
While I still love baked mac and lasagna, I cannot, for the life of me, swallow mac and cheese. Ugggh!
What remains palatable to taste is our simple Jollibee spaghetti concoction. I suppose it's the Filipino taste.

@t100068 Jollibee is a Filipino food chain much like McDonald's The Jollibee spaghetti caters to the Filipino taste.
Here's a cooking procedure though I use ground chicken instead of beef. No salt nor sugar added also.
Filipinos like their spaghetti a bit sweet. Filipino Sweet Style Spaghetti is definitely delicious and creamy. Jollibee inspired spaghetti. Get Cookin' will ...

@eileenleyva So, Filipino taste is more sweet and savory. The recipe sounds really good and it sounds like it would be a really filling meal.

I just like my own spaghetti as I said the other day.
I follow my Sicilian Nanas recipe.

@t100068 Well for one, Americans usually just use bottled or can sauce.

@RebeccasFarm Italian pasta is made with homemade sauce, and the pasta is not broken apart unlike the pasta in the United States of America. Bottled or canned pasta sauce usually has a lot of sodium and other preservatives.

Lasagna is really good and has a lot of flavor. Spaghetti with meat sauce has a lot of good flavor and a great amount of protein. Personally, I make Tofu spinach Lasagna with a spinach ricotta sauce. For spaghetti, I make a lentil spaghetti Bolognese with broccoli. What are some pasta recipes that you like?

The one I enjoy the most is vegetable lasagna and maybe I'll learn to make it one day. I'm not eating much pasta at present. I eat veggies cut like pasta.

Now a days it's just jollibee pasta and not much on other things.
