Are You Ready For Tomorrow Night?

September flew by and so did October. I still haven't gotten around to even unpacking my Halloween decorations. Just never thought about it and the days have flown by. Luckily, we did stock up on bags of potato chips for the trick or treaters, but that is pretty much it. Last night was the first night I even watched anything Halloweenish and that is not me. My mom would always start planning at least a month ahead for any up coming holiday, but I guess that I didn't inherit that gene. So, today I'm trying to get in the mood for tomorrow night. As a kid this had to be my 2nd in line for favorite holiday. I want to go back to being a little kid again lol... How about you? Would you like to be a nine year old again or even maybe a teenager again and lastly, are you ready for Halloween this year?

I used to love halloween but as I age it becomes less fun especially since there are no trick or treaters around here.

It's my younger daughter's birthday and her birthday party always turns into a Halloween costume party. She turns 15 this year. Last year we had no kids visiting for trick or treat due to the pandemic. Not sure if they would do this year. Any way I have got a big packet of candies in case they do.

@JimBo452020 Halloween has never been celebrated here. They tried almost to impose this celebration, just because it's another commercial thing, but people really do not care.

Halloween was never around in Australia when we were young but it is a big deal with the kids.

I would like to be a teenager again and get a chance to undo some of the things I did in my late teens and early twenties. It would also be great to relive the 60s and 70s -- the best time ever!

Ready as I'll ever be with the cool nights to go right along with it. Not expecting any trick-or-treaters, but it'll be a nice, quiet day at home.

I'm probably the oddball on this site. Halloween or as I call it, Samhain, has a spiritual component in it to me. Deeply spiritual. I loved the trick or treating part when I was a kid. Now I am back to the Celtic folklore. Its kind of like New Years to me. I will walk my property tomorrow night and say hello to my departed fur family. I will embrace what was and thank them for their gifts. I also will light a lamp. And overeat.
