Jefferson County deputy Jordan Agee answered an emergency call from a concerned mom who found her one year old girl who lives in Fairfield not responding after she took fentanyl by accident on Monday afternoon. Officer Agee was prepared to use Narcan nasal spray on the one year old girl who had been unconscious for a period of 30 minutes when she came to her senses. Officer Agee had help from other law enforcement officers to make a phone call to the ambulance to take the girl to the local Children's Hospital where she in stable condition. Sad to say the mother of the girl Jeanette Ashley Bell confessed to the police that her admitted that her daughter had taken some of the drugs by accident. Jeanette was taken into custody on chemical endangerment charges and is in the Jefferson County Jail and is being held on a bond of $15,000 dollars. Officer Agee is happy that he was able to save the life of a child. That is a great way for a police officer to serve his community to the best of his ability.

What kind of mothers is that. I’m sure the child will be taken from her and handed over to the court.

@RubyHawk I am sure that the child will live with another relative like an aunt or grandmother.

It's such a shame that happened to the child. I'm glad she will be okay. The mother belongs in jail.

I agree with you since the one year old girl is lucky to be alive. She needs a safer home.
