Brought the plants in from the landing

It is November 2 and there is a frost warning for tomorrow night so it is time to bring in what I want to save. I put the basil and 3 pots of geraniums on the glass-topped table in front of the windows in the front room. I've had basil last until the spring (when I just plant a new pack of seeds) but I've never done geraniums before. I'm not sure how long they will last.
I left the mums outside as they are already mostly dead even after regular watering. They never last for me.

Geraniums are perennials where I live. But I have to plant again basil every year as they go to seed.

@NJChicaa I will plant everything in pots this year. But it is not a problem of weather. Luna might also want to garden if plants were in the soil.

Getting that time of year to protect the plants, huh?

I hope the geraniums last a long time.
I'm still seeing some plants outside here, but it won't be long until they're all inside. We had 20s last night.
