Procastinating

I feel like whenever I have assignment or task to do, I often postpone it until I have the energy to do it. I always say "after this" to myself but instead I spent a lot of time being wasted because I didn't do anything productive. I just wait until I have the energy to do it. Sometimes, this is kinda bother me as I want my assignment to be completed as fast as possible since I'm not a 'deadliner' person. Doing the task that is really close with the deadline making me freak out. Another thing is that, whenever I do my assignment, I can be easily got distracted so that I need a lot of time to finish it Do you guys have the same problem? How can you handle this?

@deadlynightside Yes it does, I wish I wasn't that way. I seem to procrastinate on things I don't really want to do.

@deadlynightside I take small breaks and come to realize that if I do not work, my relatives will be disappointed that I did work enough to assist them with my salary.

@Deepizzaguy that's very true, the feeling of being dissapointment sometimes haunt me as well. Taking break could help to refresh our mind.

I feel similar sometimes, especially with things I know I really DON'T want to do. Ugh! But there's no way through except to get through it!

Yup that's true, there’s no choices except just doing it.

I know that it is not easy, but try to focus on what you are doing. Do just one thing at a time, focus on it, when finished move to another.

Can you break things down into small steps and maybe do a small step or two?

I also have to deal with my own procrastination.

Procrastination never yields a result at all. You can make things better if you finish the task that day itself. Finishing the task on time without delay is the basis for success.

I'm a procrastinator. I'm trying to do better, but it doesn't always work.

It's one of my worst habits. I put things off for ages, then when I finally start, I keep stopping to do other things. It's a constant struggle, and I've never been able to fully break the habit.

I also sometimes like to procrastinate on work. Sometimes there is a feeling of laziness.
