EArn, yes possible. But earn to support myself and my family. No, I havent succeeded. I still rely on my day job.
On weekends when I should be trying out sites, I spend it to entertain myself and catch up on chores at home.
I am getting a bit frustrated for my own lack of discipline. But I give myself some slack because I already spend so much energy on day job. So yea weekends for some fun.

Like you said your day job is where you earn. Maybe you need to relax on weekends so need to find things online you can enjoy to do on weekends.

I get it. I am glad you have opportunities when you decide to stop working.

@Hannihar These opportunities are open to you as well I believe. Things like youtube and other video platforms, crypto currencies, blogging etc, freelancing.

I dont see myself working on my dayjob for the next 10 years. So eventually I will have to find an alternative. But I see opportunities opening up with our ever changing world right?

We all deserve such breaks to entertain ourselves. We can't be so harsh to ourselves. I wish I could earn enough online to quit my offline job. But glad that I love my offline job.

@yoalldudes We all have our own capacity. And one should not be working so hard that one abuses the health.

Same here, my day job still is my main source of living. Toxic but it gives food on the table. Meanwhile, my search for a reliable source of income online is still not working for me. I think I have tried trading, cryptos, and everything under it but it is not earning me that much to make it a source of living. I hope that like you, I will find the perfect one that will not make my head ache. But that ideal job is quite elusive and hard to find on the web.

@yoalldudes I think we are many in this kind of situation right now. I can see only a few have been fairly successful having to find a good and reliable source of online income. They say that VA (virtual Assistants) is in many years ago but I have not ventured into that area. I think there was this person advocating it and so far, I have not dived in for some reason.

@rsa101 For training you can go to FVA Filipino Virtual Assistants. They have promo from time to time. I took a course there and happy I did.

I had similar desire… And landed up to the same conclusion as yours.
When working online, I believe discipline is the key….
And weekends are for fun and relaxing

Glad to know Im not alone. I go here and noise but its because it is entertaining to post and chat. Some would grind on that other site but I refuse to do that. Also my eyes have become sensitive to screen.

Earning online is also low for me, but I consider it as sideline work while also enjoying. We're lucky we have a day job that meets our financial requirements. Just keep on working. Five years ago I never earned a penny online who knows sooner we will achieve something.

@florelway I may thrive better in a municipality than a province the fund is bigger hence more accountability. There are options so I dont worry. We'll get by. The Almighty will provide.

It's nice to have passive income, yet hard to find the best site that pays high. I applied at a site with a high pay but they required me to work full time. I cannot compromise my work as a university lecturer for I earn better and could save some for the rainy days.

Watching slow living on youtube helps. Also just lying in bed carefree with no worries feel good.

It's alright to take a break for a while in order to recharging your energy for another day.

That is true. My new mantra is "balance". After exertion should be rest and relaxation.
