Baby boomers? / myLot

Who on here is a baby boomer, ie born in the late 50's early 60's? Did you ever think you would witness what we are seeing in the world today? It all seems a bit beyond belief!

One thing with us baby boomers is we had to learn all this technology on our own initiative and all those who didn't were left out never to understand it

unlike my children who had computers and tech integrated into their education curriculum since grade school.

Exactly and there are many our age who struggle, I really try to help people like that, they are missing out on so much potential to have friends.

@Ritz100 I had been trying to teach my friends who are about our age bitcoin and crypto for years telling them that it would become the next financial system, I always get a negative response from them till btc went to all time high of 20k in 2017 I think and I showed them how much I made from something they refused to learn

Just imagine how I feel. I was born on 1945. I did not have TV or fridge at home nor most of the kitchen appliances that are so common today. And I would not have believed about computers, smartphones, buying online and the like.

Goodness me, I was born in 60 but I cannot imagine being another 15 years older and see all of this, it must be mind boggling, bless you xx

@marguicha I agree 100%, life was slower then and we took our time living and not rushing around and missing life, people dont LIVE these days, they miss everything
