Wake Up People. Trump's Not The President Anymore

Trump is still constantly in the news and the American media can't shut up about him. Why? Because the fact is that Biden is a failure, everyone knows it, no one can admit it, and the media wants to distract people from reality.
That's the ONLY reason to explain why news media coverage is so heavily focused on Trump. Because when it comes to Biden, THEIR guy, there is no news to report about his glowing success. No news to report about how things are better now. No news to report about how well things are going now that thankfully Trump is gone.
Instead they would have to tell you about the border crisis, and the job losses, the massive disruptions in the supply chain, how badly Afghanistan went, how North Korea is back to firing off missiles, how China is back to strong arming Hong Kong, how Russia is gaining power, how our military is falling apart, how inflation is crippling the poorest of the poor...
You'd think the media would be falling over themselves to shove it in all our Trump loving faces. "See? We told you so. See how much better things are now?"
But they can't. Because there is nothing to boast about. The Biden presidency is a total disaster falling apart faster than Carter's did.
That's why the news media focuses on Trump. And you know what? Trump's not the president anymore. Biden is. So if you want anyone to believe things ARE better, why not shut up about Trump and tell us about Biden?
Because the only thing to tell us about is the disaster, and they don't want to do that.
Even here on MyLot, dominated by Trump haters, NO ONE and I mean NO ONE is posting ANYTHING positive about Biden. The ones who posted against Trump now post against republicans. They have nothing at all to say about Biden.
It's quite shocking actually.
The funny thing is that according to the latest major polls, most democrats are even beginning to rationalize this, and I actually think that is a good thing for America. Few democrats polled want Biden back. No one wants Harris. And the bright side for America is that MAYBE in 2024 people come back to their senses and vote policy, not personality.
The bad thing? We've got three years left of this, and considering what he's screwed up in just one year, God help us all in the meantime.

@CarolDM Virginia was a HUGE tell tale about how the midterms are going to go. I actually think republicans regain control of both the House and Senate. Even New Jersey was a huge tell. I am not surprised it did not turn, but the fact that the margin was so small was very telling people are not happy with the democrat party at all.

That's the scary thing. The media's quiet about what's going on in the world. Trying to push an ajenda. Same goes for vaccines. They can't vaccinate people fast enough. But, all they can talk about is how vaccines save lives against this scarry virus. Don't bother doing your own research into it, we'll tell you what to and need to know.
I wonder how much of America will be left.

The scary thing about the vaccines is that they have been the most deadly vaccines we have had in history, and the media is silent about that. So is the government. Remember back in the 70s when a vaccine was released and caused just 5 deaths? They pulled it immediately out of concern and as a precautionary measure. This vaccine has deaths in the thousands.

@porwest That is very scary. I don't remember that, because that was before my time. But, I think the country has gone in a very bad direction. It's all about money now a days. It's hard to tell what's truth and lies.

@kaylachan Very. People nowadays need to be self-informed. Unfortunately most people don't make the effort.

You got that right. God help us all to survive the next three years. Every time Biden does something unbelievable, he then does something even worse.

I know I don’t watch the news much, except for Tucker Carlson, but it seems like we are seeing a lot of Biden but Harris is nowhere to be found. Is she hiding under a rock somewhere?

@porwest Oh, I didn't know that. Not that I want to see more of her lol but it was just surprising that this is what's going on.

@lovebuglena I don't want to see more of her either. It's bad enough we have to see as much of Biden as we do and try our best to interpret what the hell he is saying half the time.

The media is barking up the wrong tree as usual.

@porwest That is why I get mad at the media. What things go well, they are quiet. When there is a sad news event, it is front page news.

@Deepizzaguy Unless it is something about Joe Biden. Then they somehow try to turn the bad news into good news. lol

The very sad and scary part is that Trump's policies actually worked and were very successful. But the media would not tell us that, and so it was left up to people to seek out the information on their own. Most people don't do that. So, the media is largely to blame for Biden...
Assuming Biden did not steal the election, which I think he did.

The problem is no one wants Trump, either. There has to be a articulate republican they can nominate. I think the past two elections — 2016 and 2020 — have been a case of ”ANYBODY but (insert name of candidate that lost the presidential election)!!!” I’d like to see us have some candidates that have some sense in their heads and can articulate their position instead of “I’m not Trump” or “I’m not Hillary.”

I am not sure I agree with " no one wants Trump either." His 2016 win was not a landslide, but it was quite decisive. In 2020 Trump received 11 million MORE votes than he did in 2016. That's a LOT of new supporters. Many of those supporters are stronger than ever in their support.
I am not saying yet whether or not I want him to run again. But I will say that with the horrible disaster Biden has left us so far which will only get worse, considering Trump's support and growing numbers of people actually looking at Trump's successful record, he could actually pull it off.
As for Trump in general, I think people focused on the wrong things when they went to the polls. You vote the policy. Not the man.
In contrast, Clinton was a horrible monster, but he was a pretty good president. That's what you vote for.
