I am almost ready to head out the door. There is a list I am working on for hubby to take to the doctor on Wednesday and a letter to get addressed. I found several medical bills hubby and I owe. Not sure why he did not pay them as they came in. He will write the checks and pay them today. The weather is decent, so we will have a fire drill at school today. My lunch box is filled with left over stew and wheat crackers. I have applesauce too, and dried fruit. This is open enrollment for Medicare, so I have a stack of offers to look through to see if I want a Medicare Advantage or supplement. All in all a very Monday kind of day, take care.

I tried the Medicare supplement the first year, then changed to the Advantage plan. It covers the gym, so it's worth it.

The first year I lookdke at an Advantage plan there was none nearby. I am very rural. I am looking for one this year.

Ah, this time of year and “open enrollment.” I got a note from my FERS retirement that my health insurance is only going up three dollars next year. I can’t believe it: got a 5.9% COLA and I get to KEEP MOST OF THE MONEY this time!
