Winter's Howl

Icy stares into the wind,
Frosty silence fills the air.
Time to bundle up tightly
As the relentless cold entices despair.
Howling, screaming, brewing chills.
Winter's grasp is firm.
Better get inside the house
To escape from the frigid burn.
Ah, delightful heat melts the heart.
A smile crosses your face.
Let the screaming wind howl from outside.
For you are in a comfortable place.

Nice poem, I'm glad it doesn't get that bad around here.
