Kitty slept with me last night!

Kitty does not always sleep in my bed with me. She did so pretty often before this year's first trip to Montana, but I think she was a little ticked off at me for my 10-day absence.
Over the past week, she has gotten back into jumping in bed with me at about 3 AM, having a purr fest with me near my pillows, and then falling asleep against my hip.
We woke up together this morning at about 8 AM.
Do your pets sleep with you?

My walking sharks tried that one morning. They were COLD! They came looking for me because I'd overslept and missed their feeding time.

@TheHorse My babies could be, yes... but not when you aren't expecting something cold and wet to crawl into bed with you.

@DaddyEvil There's a good Calvin and Hobbes funny about that.

Yes, we’d have a race to the bed when I’d tell Freckles I was going to bed. She’d hog the pillow.

Your kitty is so cute.
Only one of our dogs sleeps with my daughter. The other one prefers to sleep alone

@TheHorse yes they do. When it's bedtime our little dog runs upstairs to snuggle with my daughter. The other dog is an old man now and is happy curled up on the rug in the living room

@TheHorse I assume so. I don't know why anyone would stay in an unhappy spot.

@xander6464 Some People like to torture themselves. Maybe it's the same with our fur friends.

All of mine are locked out of the bedroom. Not enough room for 3 dobermans and 4 cats. And the cats like to fight

@TheHorse They are nice to have when its cold out. But I would not have a spot to sleep with all of them in there.

@wolfgirl569 Heh. I sleep well. But I like to change positions as I'm falling asleep. Six animals on me might make that difficult.

No pets. I think Kitty missed you and felt frightened that you might have abandoned her.

So kind of you! But you were gone and she probably missed you.

Yes, they share our bed. They also use us as pillows, beds, pawrests, springboards, trampolines...
They also travel with us. The girl is a seasoned traveler, and our young male is learning to travel. They both like the excitement of new things to sniff and new windows to look out.

When I had my beloved cat Sid if he suddenly felt very loving toward me he would sleep right on my hip because I slept curled up on my right side, You can imagine trying to stretch my legs or moving with him sleeping like that but eventually when this happened and I had to move he wound up sleeping between my knees so I could have my legs straight out, Fond memories and I sure miss that cat,

When we had dogs they didn't sleep with us. I wouldn't have minded it except they were quite large. The Pomeranians had to be let out every 3 hours. I was sleeping in the recliner at that time.
