I manage to earn $6.78 yesterday, this is with no images uploaded and no referrals. I have this observation and hope this will serve as tips to get high earnings with myLot.
Tip 1: Go for Quality Posting. This is the central technique but you must understand what is quality posting means here. It means more than 3 lines of responses (this is for myLot spider reader or whatever you call it). Next, some of your responses needs to earn a + rate, the more, the better.
Tip 2: Open your own discussion and give + ratings to those who made quality responses. This way you help myLot by encouraging others to give quality post and it seems by doing so, myLot will also reward you.
Tip 3: Since myLot encourages quality post - do not respond to garbage discussion like "What is the color of your car?", "How old are you", "Have you visited Italy" and the like. Maybe, just maybe, responding to this type of discussion will earn you negative rating from the point of view of myLot. This will work against you.
Tip 4: With Tip3 given, Give Quality Discussion Topic.
It's time for you to respond. I will give + rating for your quality response.

Thank you very much for posting these tips. I'm very pleased with the new system of point rewarding, and it's advice like this that will help people make the most of this website. Hopefully people will take this to heart and we'll see less of the poll-type one word answer questions and more posts that encourage discussion.

Your advice makes a lot of sense. I initially answered some of the Yes/No questions and saw my count go up, but when I started answering more serious discussions with serious answers of my own my earnings seemed to go up faster and were no longer running in tandem with my answer count. I haven't tried to guess how the MyLot algorithm works but am certain that they will need quality content in order to stay in business and make money themselves.
Thanks for your tips.

I love to post on some interesting topics. Some more interesting than others. Thanks for the tip about trying to post three or more lines. And at first I didn't know what those + and - signs were for, so what I did was give everyone a +. But now I know and I'm careful about rating people.

Ther is alot of good info out there and it is nice that people are willing to share it. Yes some disscussions seem short and just out there. so I do not have alot of time.. I ususally just post 3 comments daily as I run a newsletter online and a tean downline builder. Thanks for sharing these tips thou:)
