Being a hard-core vegitarian, I was suggested to have flaxseeds daily. Thought sharing some benifits with you here would be helpful.
Soluble fiber in flaxseeds helps control cholesterol levels in the body naturally. As a result, the cholesterol deposited in the arteries of the heart begins to decrease and the blood flow becomes better a result of which chances of a heart attack are minimal.
Omega-3 is found in abundance in flaxseeds, which improves blood flow, and prevents blood clotting or the clotting that causes heart attacks.
It also helps get rid of excess body fat, which helps in reducing weight.
The antioxidants and phytochemicals present in flaxseed reduce the signs of aging, thus preventing wrinkles and keeping the skin firm.
Alpha linoic acid is found in flaxseed, which helps in fighting against arthritis, asthma, diabetes and cancer. It is especially helpful in fighting colon cancer.
Consumption of flaxseed in limited quantity controls the level of sugar in the blood. The element called lignan present in flaxseeds being active in the intestines, produces such an element which plays an important role in maintaining the balance of female hormones.
Consuming a spoonful of flaxseed every morning and evening is helpful in keeping you completely healthy, it can be grinded and taken with water.

@Icydoll Thanks I could that a try, I just eat them raw. They are a little difficult to chew as they are too small and slippery in the mouth. But your way would be better.

I can understand, it's not suggested more than a tablespoon a day. I just read if we eat more than 70 grams of fiber a day it may cause bloating, gas, and constipation.

They are next to tasteless I mean nothing to be loved and nothing to be hated, just keeping in mind they are good for those who don't eat fish a good source of omega 3. I eat them raw they are not easy to be chewed as they are small and slippery in the mouth but now being a month have got used to it. We Indians prefer chewing something specially fennel seeds and somewhat the same for me now.

Hello there stranger... I hope you and your family are all doing well.
We bought a bag of flax seed... When I saw it in the cabinet a few days ago Pretty said I had asked for it but she didn't know why. (I don't remember asking for it. )
