Are you ready to read novels about the Covid 19 Pandemic?

If you are, they are here and more are coming. I love to read, but to relive any part of the last two years worth of masking, vaxing, not vaxing, fighting about vaxing, emergency rooms, hiding out at home does not interest me at all. I wonder how soon the Pandemic movies will be out? Too soon no doubt. What about "Pandemic" : The Musical? Are you anxious to relive some of that for entertainment?

I read a lot but already know too much about Covid 19... I'm not interested in reading anything about it now. I can't remember, did I offer you the free ebook site I use?

@JamesHxstatic Okay, no problem. I prefer to read an actual book, too, but we moved into a smaller house so I don't have room for real books anymore. *shrug* I can read the ebooks on my phone.

No, but I have to hold a book in my hands to read it. I'm really old fashioned.

Watch Contagion if you haven't. It is eerie how spot-on it is.

I can't think of too many things that could be worse, not that we've had too bad a time of it in our state.

I showed the movie "Contagion" to my students a couple of weeks ago and they weren't shocked by it. It came out in 2012 or 2013 back when what we've lived was unthinkable. If you want a good true-story virus book read The Hot Zone. It deals with Ebola. We had Ebola in I think Virginia years ago!

No, and if it ever ends I never want to hear about it again. The most gigantic PIA of my life..and that doesn't even consider the massive horror and loss of life and grief it has caused for innocent families.

@JamesHxstatic That's fine with me, as long as events can carry on, and we can eventually ditch the masks.

Right @Snowy. It would be great if it fades into history, but we may see vaccines from now on.

That would be a hard no. While I feel like I live in this bubble, I don't need to see or hear a dramatized retelling of the past couple of years. Living it once is enough, thank you.

@JamesHxstatic My husband says that he's seeing people get tired of it, but it's become a cash cow they are trying to milk as long as possible. Thank god they finally stopped all this extra govornment help. Not that I'm not tthankful for it, but I think it hurt us more than it helped us.

Are you planning on writing a novel too? There is a movie called "Contagion", you should watch if you have not.

Gads, book about the Pandemic, why even bother, we didn't see any books or movies about the Spanish Flu, right so why the pandemic, right?

I'm sure there has been a documentary about it since Hollywood became a deal but I doubt it was even a consideration back in 1918. Heck, I had a hard time finding much about the roaring 20s let alone that flu.

no, in fact when a movie or tv show has any of that in it, I change the channel. I watch tv, movies, and read to be entertained.

Instead of the Titanic, it will be the Pandemic! I am so sick of reading false news, false reports, constant badgering and fighting about everything pertaining to the Covid virus! A person murdered because his sister didn't wear a mask! It's insanity, I'd never read a book or watch a movie about the past two years of mass confusion and constant turmoil.

There are some already some (many) being released.
NEW YORK (AP) — Near the end of 2020, the pandemic had lasted long enough for author Jodi Picoult to try something that seemed unthinkable for novelists in its early stages — turn it into fiction.

We're still not out of the pandemic, so I'm really not in the mood for novels about it. However, some good non-fiction books on population health and emerging infectious diseases always are welcome on our shelves here.
