New Fitness Tracker

My old fitness tracker (which was a Fitbit Charge HR) stopped charging....I have tried to get it to charge many times, even tried resetting it and so on....but it never came back to life. So, I decided to get a new fitness tracker - but not a Fitbit. I got one from Amazon (not even sure the brand of this one at the moment). It was around $30 with tax. There are some pros and cons that I have found so far with the new tracker. Pros: - It tracks steps, sleep, heart rate like the Fitbit -It also will track oxygen levels and blood pressure (Fitbit wouldn't do that) -It is more affordable Cons: - You do have to wait for the hear rate to show, the fitbit would show it automatically -You can't really customize anything (though you can in the Fitbit app) - The app does not have a lot of features (like in the fitbit where you can even track food) I am still learning a lot about the tracker and the app...but these are a few pros and cons I see at this point. Have you tried any more affordable fitness trackers from Amazon? Did you like them...or would you go back to Fitbit (or another one of the more popular brands)?

I don't have a Fitbit or any other fitness tracker. I would like one that tracks sleep. I'm up all night and rarely sleep. I'd like to see how much sleep I actually get.

Most of the tracker will do sleep fairly accurately. I will look but I think I got rid of my old one already. .

I had one from Amazon. I forget the brand. I would never recommend the one I got, which is why I turned to Fitbit. Now, I'm waiting on a better one through my insurance company benefits program. It does a lot more than the Fitbit did.

@MommyOfEli2013 Not all fitness trackers are bad. I'm sure the one you have is okay. It does more than the one I had, so there's a plus already.

Now I am concerned and wondering if I made a mistake. I mean it works fine so far....but still. That is great you can get one through that program though. I would have liked to get a newer fitbit model, but I can't really afford one

@just4him Well I was going by the reviews on the product which said it was good for the price it was....and that is a good point.

I tried one with the blood pressure. I can tell you on the one I had that part was not accurate. The app for it did have a spot for food but it was hard to use for calories. So I will stick with fitbit probably

Well the reviews on this one said that it was pretty accurate for them. I'll check it against an actual machine and see. Must not be the same though since this app doesn't have a spot for food...but still sorry to hear that
