Where Do You Save Important Documents?

Years ago, someone told me to save important documents and photos three ways: on my computer, on a USB/memory stick and on the cloud (for example, Dropbox).
I admit I don't do all three yet. Do you?
I remember in the past, people stored documents and valuables in safety deposit boxes in the bank. I wonder if they still do and if the contents have changed.

I agree because when Covid happened, a lot of places wants you to just send them copies online.

I save my paper documents in the firat drawer of my night table. I think that all I have lived and done after the arrival of computers will die soon.

I remember when we needed copies of our birth certificates, the National Statistics Office didn't have a copy of it. The original ones were still in the City Hall in another city where we were born. It seems they started digitizing those who were born recently first, then going backwards.

@merrybelle2021 I don´t trust completely computers. Software changes and everything is lost.

@merrybelle2021 None at home, I only have a filing cabinet. We have one filing cabinet though with built in vault but yet to be fixed.
