People often scream that why should they stay indoors and how long can they go on with this social distancing in the pandemic. Well genes of the virus explain it very well.
The green highlighted alphabets that you see in the picture are small particles called genes inside which the alphabets are called codes.
The colour green depicts that these alphabets/codes can unite with another such set closer to it and form a new virus.
So when two person come close to each other or stand at close proximity these coding genes of the Corona virus (green) get a chance to multiply and so doctors throughout the world are asking us to stay at home and maintain social distancing.
So remote working should be allowed by all countries and employers wherever its possible.

Vaccine makes you immune to the virus but it doesn't work for long. We to still wear masks and I rarely go out.

The infection rate is high in England and we virtually have no restrictions. Our prime minister says mask wearing is not mandatory but should be up to the individual. I have had covid and I'm fully vaccinated but I still wear one.

@aninditasen I could get hit by a different variant and get it again. There is someone on MyLot who got it mildly in March 2020 and did not get vaccinated but a year later he got it again and was in hospital for a month. You can never tell how it will get you.

@sprite1950 That's right. That's why maintaining distance is the only way so that the virus does not multiply or forms new variants. Remote working should be allowed wherever possible. A person should be allowing to work from his home town if it is safe there. When it's not possible to run an office without the presence of the employees, there they can follow the proper protocol. Like for example in my house construction work is going on. I just allow them upstairs and don't often go close to them. I inspect the work from a distance.

You are doing something to protect yourself from the virus and that's right.

I feel for those whose work has been impacted- it has been a long time to be out of work.
I have worked remotely for years now, going virtual in 2015.
So many people at my company have embraced remote work since COVID, our company just closed another three offices- earlier, they closed 4 large locations as few people were using them.

That should be when the WHO says this covid won't go and doctors and genetics says so.

Yes, that the people, the government and the companies should understand. The only way now is to clean the environment clean that kills the virus which the scientists have still to work on.

Yes and people should have stayed in in the first place, then maybe that might have avoided some of this.

You are right. We should avoid going out as much as we can.

In cold weather the virus gets the fog as the medium to multiply. I too avoid going out as much as possible.
