If you know me at all, you know that I hate s**w; and I hate winter. S**w is a bad, four-letter word to me. Well, yesterday we had the first measurable s**w of the season. We received 2 inches; BUT fortunately it melted over a 24-hour period. Oh, to be in the Florida Keys right now! Has it s**wed in your part of the world yet this year? Do you like s**w? We have cool weather here in Florida but you're right no snow, Actually I miss the snow and the lovely wooden paths we walked through the white stuff in Latvia

Oh my, the ugly white stuff, I hate this and I hope not to see it here soon. It is still mild here.

@LadyDuck We get the drive plowed; and a young man across the street shovels the walk for us...

We are in summer over here. I can see Mr Sun waving to me from my window. What I want to say is that it's a beautiful day. It never snows over here and winter is not that harsh

@myklj999 not all mykl I’ll bet, like me, you’d probably miss it if it never came - but wouldn’t mind it if it snowed, maybe an inch or two, was around for a day or so and then melted. Like up in the Prescott AZ area

@myklj999 you mean a car accident? The first snow here is pretty dangerous- I went off the road years ago. Heavy, wet snow on the road WAS indeed a factor.

It's so cold; and it's dangerous to drive; and big snowstorms make it necessary to plow the driveway and get the front walk shoveled. Where do you live?

We are not dreaming of a White Christmas then are we? I also hate snow and am hoping for a warm winter season. My snow joe does make the job of shoveling easier but the frigid weather temps and blowing wind don't Those Florida Keys sound pretty good...Even for the birds!

lol We've had two incidences of snow on the ground. That's enough for me! White Christmases are nice; but not totally necessary!

@LindaOHio Agreed, although I'd be ok with a light dusting on Christmas where the tree branches are covered with a light layer of snow.

I don’t think it’s the first snow people hate. It’s the sticking around for several months and piling up. Like houseguests that come, bring lots of others with them, and overstay their welcome. If it would snow, be pretty, maybe an inch or two, for a couple of days, then melt away completely, in between ‘visits’ - that would be not so bad.

I have never seen and felt snow in my life. Always dreamed of being able to go to a country with snow. Hopefully one day when our household finances are good, we can travel to a country that has snow. Want to play in the snow.

Yes, I love snow. I do enjoy the snow when it does snow. Usually we get some here in Virginia. Sometimes we don't get any though. I don't know if I would want to be in Florida, I can't take the heat. I hate the heat. I would rather be cold than hot. I enjoy the winter. I also enjoy spring and fall as well.
