I had heard people abandoning pets, but plants
It's been few days I have been witnessing an abandoned alovera plant on the 2nd floor of our apartment.
At first I thought that there might be some house renovation that's why it must have been kept outside.
But its been more than 2 weeks and nobody has still claimed it.
I realised that the plant was slowly giving up because of water.
Decided to water it on daily basis and wait for a few more days if anyone claims it.
What do plants need just water, and people now can't even afford to do that, or atleast he could have asked someone who had a garden or was interested in keeping it.
Left it to die atleast abandoned pets could roam around to find some food or shelter but this plant has no choice.
I will keep on watering it hope someone claims it or I will bring it in.

Watering it once a day will kill it. You need to read up on Aloe Vera plants and follow the instructions for their care.

@nitirrbb7 You're welcome. Too much water will cause Aloe Vera to rot from the roots up.

@nitirrbb7 I only have one plant inside. A snake plant. I have ivy and avocado plants on the deck. But the cold winter will kill them.

Oh you are so good to care for this poor plant, abandoned and lonely.
I hope it will survive okay.
Will you keep it if no one comes for it?
Here someone would surely take it.

Yes, people have abandoned pets. I would not abandon my cat. When we moved here my cat would not come when the movers were ready go so I came back to to get her. I would not leave her. I am not a plant person and the one that lived here before just abandoned her plants that were left outside. I have nothing to do with them because they are not mine and I do not like plants. I do not water the ones outside. Someone else can do it. Abandoned pets should not be left behind. If one gets a pet they need to make sure the pet is taken care of.

That was really nice of you to not leave your cat behind if someone else he might have left her if she was not ready. I won't ask you why you don't like plants because it's everyone's person choice but you care for pets and I respect that.

Good that you are watering the point. It's a kind gesture on your part. Yes some people have become very insensitive
