Hello friends. Today, I am going to share with you on how it actually feels to have impostor syndrome. For most people, it does not sound like it is real, but impostor syndrome is a real problem for many. I have experienced it many times, so I know how real it is.
First, I will define impostor syndrome as the feelings or thoughts that you are not good enough despite your qualifications and skills.
You feel like you only succeeded because of luck or some outside forces and so you don't really deserve all the appraisal and opportunities that come with your success.
As an adult, imposter syndrome can make you settle for jobs, relationships and businesses that you don't like or you could have better, but you just settle with them because you think you can't have better.
Whenever people praise you for your accomplishments, you try to convince them that it was a matter of luck and good timing. Your self does not acknowledge all the hardwork and effort you put in.
Then you always push yourself to accomplish more, do more even when it is inappropriate. You pressure yourself too much in order to proof to people that you are not an impostor, but deep down you feel like one.
Awareness of these features of imposter syndrome is the first and most important step to resolution. So search within yourself to find out if you are suffering from this problem.

That is right. Just that with imposter syndrome, you are more in doubt of yourself than lying to yourself. You feel lower than what you are actually.
