Or so it was described online. This is a special one due to the eclipse that is supposed to start around 11:30 pm around here.
I took this shot this evening at 6:35pm and boy was it a bright one.
K, I'm going to try to stay up long enough to see at least some of this eclipse but from what I've read I'd need to be awake around 2am to actually see anything ..... I'm wondering if I can stay awake that long, hmmmmmmmmmm.............
I love otters, they're so cute ..... as long as they don't try to bite ya.

There is too much light pollution here to enjoy the night skies. Obviously, it doesn't obscure the moon, but it does diminish it. As for stars, Polaris is the only one visible.

@rebelann I hope that your area doesn't get all built up. I think that it likely has a long way to go before it reaches the level of this city, though.
