Where are you from and whats it like?

Just curious as to where everyone is from. Im a member of a couple of forums but most of the people are from my country - Australia that is
Im from Western Australia and the time right now is 1.30pm
Its pretty hot here this time of the year. Its Summer but the weather has been a bit strange lately. A normal summer is around 40*C but its been cold and raining lately
Whats it like where you are?

I am from the Philippines and our time rith now is 2:30 PM and its quite hot here. I have heared that Australia is a nice place and the people are so warm. In fact, I have a cousin who already migrated to Australia and I just cant help but get envious because I really love and been wanting to go there. I think Ill have to work more on my work experience because it might be my only key to fulfill that dream.

Australia is a great place. We are a very multicultural country and everyone is from somewhere different. There are a few racists (i guess they are everywhere) but most people are very accepting of everyone.
Maybe you could plan a holiday here first to see if you like it before you consider moving.
I think we must be on the same timezone

i am from kerala,india.it is a small state southern most of india.a place filled with greenery and the beauty of nature.iam responding just 1 miniute after the discussion has been started and the time here is 10:58.here rainy season has just finished.weather is amazing.

Wow. It sounds beautiful and from the pic it looks really nice. Its a bit dry here at the moment with the hot weather slowly arriving. I have never left Western Australia so i am curious as to what its like in other countries this time of the year

I am another Aussie....Living in Brisbane now. Born in Victoria, grew up in Sydney and now settled in Brisbane with my wonderful children.
It is nearly 6 am on a Sat eeek...gotta love a toddler who wakes with the birds. It is already getting hot so looks like the aircon will be going again today.

You've travelled a fair bit then compared to me. Its hot here today (Sat) as well so air con is on. The weather has been very odd. Last night after i finished work it was raining :S

I live in the USA I have to remember that there are people from different countries here. Like I said before our weather has been very mild for Dec. it was just 70 a couple of days ago. Now it is in the 30s.

30 wow thats -1 here, freezing. 70 is about 20 for us, which is like a normal winter's day. Must be freezing over there. I would love to see the snow. I think i will have to move from Oz and go see the snow, or at least to the eastern states to see it

Is it nice there? I would really love to visit Canada and the United States. Ive heard alot about Canada but not from any Canadians. Whats it like apart from cold LOL

LOL i get like that too. I have alot of family in England and Scotland. I cant wait to come over and visit. Ive seen so many nice pictures from over there, it looks so beautiful

I am not very sure if all of you have heard about my country but for sure if I will tell you that from this country comes nadia Comaneci and Ilie Nastase and maybe Hagi,most of you,will be able to call it on her Name:ROMANIA.I am proud that I was born here and live here!Very nice place

i from malaysia , now 12.20 pm here and abot 32 c here.. its pretty hot here but this recently ,when comes evening about 4 or 5 pm.. the sky will start cloudy..

I'm an Aussie. I'm originally from Newcastle (I spent the most time there, so that makes me a Novacastrian).
Right now i am living in Adelaide, the City Of Churches. Its beautifull. The air is clean, Its very green (parks and greenery everywhere) and best of all there are pretty buildings eveywhere.
My fav is Saint Pauls Cathederal I go past every morning on the way to work. Its huge. And it overlooks a huge park, with lush trees and gardens. and the park over looks the river - with the city itself on the other side.
Its gorgeous, but I havent finshed traveling yet. got much more to see before I settle down.

Wow. I would love to be a traveller. Never left Western Australia and havent been to many places here - mainly just the south.
It sounds so beautiful in Adelaide. I will have to come and visit soon seeing you are just over the border.
Great pic. We have alot of nice buildings here in Perth too but i guess they just dont seem that way coz you see them all the time.
We have some amazing parks here too

hey.. am from India, from the state of Tamilnadu, its quiet a hot time over here, now the time is 9:45 am.. thought its usually a hooter time this season, we had a huge amount of rain earlier last month..
