Children and video games

Do you or would you allow children under age 14 to play video games such as Vice City or any role playing or violent games??? Why or why not?

I do not allow my child to play video like violent game
that is bad for their growth! and effect their study!

Yea i agree i will not let my kids play a violent video game however i will let them play an educational one made for their age.

I wouldn't let an under 14 year old play violent or graphic video games. But roleplaying games? What's wrong with them? My twelve year old neice plays roleplaying games all the time. Most of them are rated E for Everyone.
