Good day to you all, So, the news came around noon local time, sorry don’t remember the exact time but the good news is that Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges. Our freedom to defend ourselves is still intact today. When criminals come after you and you defend yourself you should be innocent of the charges. Today, was a great day for our rights and freedoms. We all should be happy about that. Do I feel bed for the family of those that were killed, sure I do. Do I feel bad for those two convicted criminals that got killed that night? No can’t say I do. Hope you all have a great day/night.

Yes I read this, actually found out about it on myLot. There will be differing opinions on this naturally. But I agree the verdict is justice served period.

@Bensen32 Yes you are right on top of it, eye witness and no one can tell it better since you are right there.

@RebeccasFarm Yeah it is all there in the facts of the case. It's people that are just listening to the media or someone else who knows nothing about the case that are upset.

Yeah, I know there are people who don't know about it but since it all happened like 2 miles from my house and I was watching it all live as it happened. I have been keeping a close eye on it.

If everyone would have just stayed home that fateful night, none of this would have happened. But I think the jury got this one right.

@Bensen32 It's sad that our law enforcement agencies can do nothing to stop these sort of things. I guess they're just understaffed and overwhelmed. These protesters ought to consider themselves lucky they live in the good ole USA, because if this would have been China, they would have just called in the military and executed everyone.

Oh yeah they should have all stayed home, I mean they did have a curfew that night and no one was supposed to be outside at the time but there were hundreds out that night and the cops could do nothing to stop it.

I am enjoying my work day today doing surveys and sharing good news stories here. Thank goodness Kyle is not guilty for defending himself against the criminals who tried to harm him.

A lot went wrong on that night, and for a lot of reasons. But I think justice prevailed today.

Oh yeah, was not a good night for anyone. Lives were lost and property destroyed, all for what? What did it change? What good did it do?

@Bensen32 It did no good at all. I will never understand the purpose of any of this sort of thing.

If I had only ever listened to the main stream media, I would have been convinced he was guilty. But after watching the trial, I felt like he was justified to use self defense.

@Bensen32 Very sensible advice. It's no wonder so many people believe lies when they hear them on what used to be respected news sources. They don't want to believe that the jurors had all the evidence to make their decisions.

@1creekgirl From what I saw and heard that night I never believed anything but the fact that he was defending himself. He got lucky they didn't kill him that night. Most people are lucky not to know what it is like to have to kill someone and then live with that the rest of your life.

I agree, and those that only listen to the main stream media I try to not get upset at their poorly informed opinions. I just try to tell them to actually do some research before they speak.
