Fuzzy obsessions

I made some small steps today in the effort to get things into moving shape. It wasn't major progress, but I can see a difference, so I know that something was accomplished.
As I was shifting things about in the bedroom, I found one of our fuzzy son's toys. No, it wasn't one of the sanctioned ones. It was a paper clip. Yes, a paper clip.
Now, I know that our fuzzy boy likes paper clips. I've had to rescue them from his clutches before, since he is a bit obsessed with them. However, I thought that I'd gotten them all. He is a sneaky one.
Do your fuzzies have any strange obsessions?

Nico has pica that used to be really bad when he was little. I was always terrified he was going to swallow something pointy, or ribbony but he seems to confine his chewing to wool type things. He has chewed on many socks. So far he has managed not to do any real damage to himself. He is much better than when he was young, although I noticed he dragged a sock out into the living room again. I didn't check it for holes. I hope there are none..

I'm glad that our boy hasn't decided to explore the joy of socks. Maybe, he's already gone through that phase. Or, maybe, clothing just doesn't interest him. He likes to attack our comforter, though--biting and bunny kicking it into submission. I'm so not getting any nice new bedding for a while...

I think that our boy would be interested in that, too. He likes to pilfer small objects (and a few not-so-small) to claim as toys.
