I'm Using a Pen Name

After writing several web novels, I've decided to use a different pen name. I think it will add more mystery to the novels I'm writing. Plus, it makes me feel like a real novelist.
I have some novels under this name on different web novel platforms as of today. The pen name I'm using now is Jaymie Suh. That sounds more appealing than my real name according to me.
I also think it makes more people want to read my stories. It's just my observation and it seems more effective than just my name. So, I guess I better keep this pen name.

Where do you post your stories? I'm interested to read these.
I would keep using the same pen name to build an audience.

I have my novels on different apps such as Webnovel, Popink, Libri, Dreame, and also Amazon. I also have a Patreon page under the same pen name. Yes, I'm planning to keep that name for my readers not to get confused. Thanks for your interest!

Seldom do good novelists, dramatists, journalists, short story writers, poets use pseudonyms. Some do for a reason like our national hero Jose Rizal who used Dimasalang or Laong Laan for security purposes.

@cherriefic Our names are very important especially when we share our work to the world. That is why in the arts, paintings and sculptures and even architecture are referred to by the artist's name like 'a Da Vinci' or 'a Manet.' In Literature, we know the best dramas as either Greek like Aristophanes or English like Shakespeare. The name matters.
In fact, it's biblical. A quote from Isaiah goes ' “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.'
We must always be known by our own real names.

That's true. I also have some paperback books from Amazon so I guess I can already call myself a novelist.

I would keep the same name. People might want to read all of your novels and would not know to look under the new name. Just my opinion.
