The weekends always go by way too fast

It's funny how two days at work pass so slowly but two days of the weekend fly by. Here another weekend is winding down. Then tomorrow the countdown to the weekend begins again. My man is cooking up an awesome dinner and I am relaxing with my feet up, myLotting and snuggling with one of my kitties. I love listening to the little kitty snores. He is sleeping so good. I didn't get my Christmas decorations dug out this weekend like I planned but there is always next weekend. There is still lots of time to decorate. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for the week ahead. For those of you still working, do you have your weekends off?

Since I am self employed, I do work weekends.

The weekend flew by here as well. I have next week off from work, so will be able to spend some time cleaning in preparation of Christmas decorating, and I plan on baking tomorrow also. Best buy just called, my hubby's laptop is ready to be picked up, so I'll have to go out and get that some time during the course of the day.

Since I retired, weekends haven't been a big deal for me.

My mom doesn't have a set schedule so sometimes works weekends sometimes doesn't. I was the same.

Don't I know it. I feel the same way. And, I don't work your typical 9-5 either.

Just think, once you retire it won't be weekends flying by, it'll be weeks or months or even years. I swear it was 1970 not too long ago
