According to Oklahoma Law, The Pedestrian DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT-OF-WAY!

This surprises me almost every time I review it ... I guess I was raised believing the MYTH that 'the pedestrian ALWAYS has the right of way,' but ... My cousin was talking about 'enforcing some contracting-rule with a fine'; and it reminded me of some statistic I read that there are thousands (maybe millions, maybe dozens) of pedestrian-deaths or -injuries every year, and I wondered if there was a standard fine for '"running over" a pedestrian.' I searched (briefly) and the closest thing I found was a few laws restricting PEDESTRIANS' right-of-way! https://oklahomacity.legalexaminer.com/legal/oklahoma-pedestrian-accident-laws/ Apparently, paying for a license absolves all the crimes caused by driver-recklessness

These are normal, reasonable, common-sense laws that I have seen all over the county. They are meant to keep pedestrians safe.
