Happy Leftovers Day! I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving, and I hope you’re enjoying the first of what’ll probably be too many turkey and stuffing sandwiches this weekend. 
It’s time to sail into a new countdown, this one inspired by @JoyDorsey and her island-hopping cruises. There’ll be some very obvious songs in this list of favorites with “island” in the title, and we might as well start with one.
#10: Lady of the Island - Crosby, Stills & Nash
The second song on side two (not that I had the album or anything 
) of the stunning debut album by Crosby, Stills, and Nash may be forgotten because it was pinned between “Wooden Ships” and “Helplessly Hoping.” It’s easy to get lost in that crowd!
But not really. Every song on this album is great. Just because all FM rock radio plays anymore is “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” doesn’t mean that this album wasn’t a start-to-finish winner.
That includes this beautiful Graham Nash love song.

@FourWalls I always make cheesecake for the holidays; but I can't do it anymore; so I let hubs follow my recipes. The standing was too much for him this year; so no cheesecake. :-( Going to have turkey again for lunch! YUM! We have lemon meringue pie (the kind you defrost). It actually was quite good.

I'm going to bet that "The Ballad of Gilligan’s Isle" isn't going to be on this list. But only because they use "Isle" instead of Island.

Your right, no fillers on this album. A great tune! Three musicians meshing perfectly to produce a masterpiece. I also liked Stills song 49 Bye-Byes from this LP. Another overlooked classic
