I came back from a week in Vienna, and this is the only picture of me and the friend I travelled with. I have two of her on my phone (I use a proper camera most of the time), and I think she has a picture of my shadow or fingers in some shots. Lot of pictures of pidgeons, trees and some of ice-cream :-) Do you pose your friends in the front of the things you see, or do you prefer a picture with no people in it?

That's a nice souvenir, I'm kind of addicted to Instagram so I usually take a lot of pictures, fortunately, my friend is the same so I'm not boring her.

I'm on and off instagram. When I use my phone it's easy, but when I use the camera it takes more time so I often just forget it.

@Babino I just transferred my pictures to my PC. I came back 3 weeks ago ... So it does take some time. I did put one picture on instagram though.

@Torunn That's true, that's why I never use my camera. Too lazy.

I do not like pictures with people, but now I regret not to have taken more pictures of my Mom and Dad. I should take some pictures with my husband.

My mother likes having her picture taken, my father doesn't mind but can't see the point. Maybe I should take some pictures while I can, so I have them if I want them. Do you have pictures of generations you haven't met? We have a lot of those, the ones taken by a photographer, not many from everyday life. I don't know much, but I can see the family resemblance.

@LadyDuck That's a good point, with the digital/analog. I don't think I've got any digital of them, maybe I should get some. My mother is on the picture that's been used the most for the vaccination centre for Covid, so I could ask the news paper. It's not a very good picture though. She is the one walking in the middle. At some point I must figure out who I have pictures of. I hope other people have the same pictures, so I must find cousins I suppose.

@Torunn I have more photos of my Mom, as she lived until 3 years ago, so I took several digital photos. My father was the one who used to take photos of the family, I have very few of him. I do not believe I have photos of the generations I have not met. I have found some very old photos in the apartment of my mother and I do not know who they are.

I've been to two trips this summer, I have managed to get some pictures of people from each trip but not a lot. I also haven't had time to sort them out. Do you use a mobil or mobil + normal camera?

@LeaPea2417 I use both, so I have lots of pictures on my DSLR to sort through. I bet I'll end up taking more pictures before the sorting starts.

Somehow, I'm not really surprised that you're not a selfie-guy ;-) However, if a cute cat was posed in front of the site ...

@TheHorse I would include horses, but my horses would just try to eat either the scenery or invade the personal spaces of other tourists.

And then pictures of people eating the ice-cream? I have some pictures of ice-cream. It's one of the few "foods" I take pictures off.

You might need more time than I do to take the photos, 'cause buildings and nature don't need time to pose :-) Some of my friends need a lot of shots before they get one they're happy with.

@Belexhanns I think they do, as they use a lot of time smiling in different angles But I don't think the would agree. For me it's more important to get a nice picture of the places I see, for others it might be more important to prove that they've been there and getting a nice picture of themselves

I might have to find a friend to travel with that likes to have his/her picture taken. Maybe that's why there's no people in mine

A combination of people and scenic places. I usually take a pic of the place and then with people in it. It's always nice to see the face of a family or friend when going back to your old pictures.

I tend to travel with people who are like me, we prefer not having our picture taken. But when I go to England to visit my friends there, we get lot of crazy pictures of ourselves in additiion to the scenic ones.
