Hello fellow mylotters, I'm back again!! Before I started back to work at the Game and Parks, Pandora (our dog) had to be put down. She lived a little over a year after she had surgery for a turned stomach and a couple of months after having her rabie shots. She lived to be 12 1/2 years and we had her most of her life!!
When I went back to work, I threw myself into work, instead of working 30 hours a week, I worked 40 hours a week. It was hard coming home from work and she wasn't there to greet us or when we went some where, she wasn't able to come with us. Having Pandora for all those years, I can't believe people can say their pet is just a pet!! Pandora was like a family member and a special friend all rolled up in one!!
Have you ever lost a pet/part of the family???
~Peace~

12 Years!! Hmm I would like you to know that -- You did everything you could do...
May her soul rest in peace.
I had few pets and honestly I don't want to talk about them as it hurt the most.

Yes, and just like with any loss, the first year is always the hardest. I also know I'll have to go through it three more times. Watching my animals getting older, doesn't make it any easier.
