Three newborn kittens rescued from a storm drain during a storm

I have to show my admiration to an Animal Control Officer in Salt Lake City on Monday who risked her life to crawl inside a storm drain during a thunderstorm to save three kittens who were stranded in a storm drain.
The name and gender of the animal control officer was not mentioned however. After the animal control officer rescued the three kittens who are named Tempo, Cora and Wild were given to Best Friends which is an animal shelter in Salt Lake City.
The sweetest part of this good news story is that all three kittens who were taken care of at the shelter have now been adopted by a loving family in Salt Lake City.
How did the kittens fall into the storm drain is anyone's guess since the mom cat was not seen in the area where the incident happened.

That is probably what happened since a mom cat would never do that to her kittens.

That's considered a heroic act - saving 3 kittens. Kittens here are left alone to survive by their mothers. I wonder how mother cats can leave their young that way. Anyway, my kids are always bringing this stray kittens at home and nurse them until they grow.
Right now, we have 3 cats. 2 kittens and 1 adult cat. The first cat was also nurtured by the kids.
I'm glad the kittens are adopted and safe.
